Two weeks after Mystik Dan won the Kentucky Derby in a photo finish, the second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown is set to run today. The Preakness Stakes get underway just before 7 pm ET Saturday as television coverage leading up to race time begins at 1:30 pm. The post time is approximately 7:01 pm.
The first race at Pimlico will start at 10:30 am ET. There are 14 races on tap. At 7:01 pm ET, the focus will shift over to NBC which will carry the main event that is slated to begin at 7:01 pm.
